It's treason, pure and simple. They've been taking our money and doing absolutely nothing for over a year now. Now they are deliberately bringing our government to a halt, costing taxpayers several billions of dollars per day, endangering our lives and the world's security and economic stability, and collecting paychecks for it. Jail them, bill them for the pay they took under false pretenses, then deport them since they no longer are Americans (if they ever were). I seriously wonder what party will replace them, because they have just shot themselves in their empty heads. Stick a fork in the Republican party, 'cause they are done.
There's a price to pay for jamming through a piece of legislation via a method so illegitimate, the author of the method decried its use for health care. On the bright side, with nothing but obstructionism, Congress can't steal another $2.5 trillion of our kids' money.

I know you're not that stupid. The Repubs are costing our kids far more than that right now. This is no playground game. It is a war on our country, and most definitely an attack directed at our children. They are the ones who will suffer in the end. Each and every bill they are obstructing has already cost millions apiece just to get to this point. Their salaries and benefits alone, which they are NOT working for, amount to well over 4 million a week. The backlog of work they have refused to address will cost billions to restart and deal with. Our country's progress has been stopped in it's tracks, and will take years to recover from. Countless people will die or suffer because of their attack on our government. These aren't bills about Girl Scout cookie flavors. They are about lives, and preventing deaths. They are about our children's education and welfare. They are about our wive's and girlfriend's safety and our nation's security. They are about poisons in our food and bombers in our airports. Treason such as this is unprecedented in our country's history. I'd be perfectly okay with executing each and every one of them by firing squad.
The problem with this as a threat is that Republicans have been doing this from the start. What's going to change now? When you start nuclear, you have nowhere left to go to up the ante when you get angry.
