<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Suns center Thomas could play in Game 7PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns might have center Kurt Thomas available for spot duty off the bench against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.Thomas has not played since breaking his right foot against Boston on Feb. 22. He went through 2-on-2 drills on Saturday and was to participate in a full scrimmage on Sunday, coach Mike D'Antoni said. The Suns certainly could use another big man against the Clippers in Game 7 of their Western Conference semifinal series."Can we get him back on Monday at this level, this quick? I think it's very difficult," D'Antoni said. "We'll see how he scrimmages tomorrow."If the Suns win, D'Antoni said he was confident Thomas could play at some point in the conference finals.Thomas didn't have much to say about his status after Saturday's workout."It feels good," he said. "We'll see how it is after tomorrow."D'Antoni minimized any impact Thomas could have so soon after coming back."That's a tough injury to come back and throw someone into a playoff situation," D'Antoni said. "I don't know if it's fair to ask him to do that. We'll hold that judgment until we see him scrimmage and then make a good decision."Thomas, acquired from the New York Knicks before the season began, averaged 8.6 points and 7.8 rebounds in 53 games for Phoenix.</div>Link
Kurt Thomas has a great rebounding game, he could be a small X-factor for the clippers. Tonight i believe will be dominate for the suns, they have too much with steve nash always helping his team out, Shawn Marion scoring like there is no tommorow, Raja Bell a great all-around player, and Boris Diaw the most improved player have much dominance over the team of Elton Brand, Sam Cassel, Cuttino Mobely, and shaun livingston that the Clippers have. The Clippers had their chance when they lead hte series 3-1 however now they've shown that they can't get it done this series.
Suns are up with the fourth quarter starting, unless the Clippers make a big fourth quarter run they are not going to come back from the 15 point defficit.I really thought the Clippers would expose the Suns weak interior presence but I guess it just hasn't been enough.Brand has scored his points but Kaman and Radmanovic couldve stepped up more. The Suns have done better in the playoffs without Amare so far, would be good to see what they would do next year when he comes back.
YES!!!I don't know why the Suns keep waiting for game 7 to get through, its not good for my heart. They match up better with Dallas than the Spurs as well. Its going to be a great Western finals.
Man, Clippers disappointed me. I thought they could put up a better fight with their season on the line. Well anyway I think the better team prevails and even though the Clippers didn't show much in game 7, they have a bright future ahead of them.
I was cheering for the Clips yesterday night. Too bad they lost. Anyways, they had a great season and i still can't believe they joined the post-season. I would suggest to keep an eye on them in the following years.
