Like we're rounding into a decent playoff team now. Adding Camby was huge, and Miller is definitely in mid-season form. Roy is healthy and LMA is actually playing like the guy that we extended. I think we've got a good shot at making some noise in the playoffs. It really all depends on the matchup, but I like our chances with Camby, Miller, and Howard now on the team. There's no way we go into the first round with the same mentality as last year.

Umm, just one thing to edit, Aldridge is playing like we extended in the first half, he was brutal in the second half with the exception of like a coule big plays/shots. But I agree, we are looking good. Hopefully we draw the jumpshooting, soft Mavs.

A funny thing happened for me at the beginning of the broadcast when they flashed the starting lineups for both teams on the screen at one time. I saw each guy on our team and felt as reassured by what I saw as I ever have; I literally couldn't find any clear cut advantage for Dallas at any given position ... or at least I didn't feel there was any glaring mismatch.

Well, Dirk is clearly a better player than Aldridge. But otherwise, I see what you mean.

Maybe it's because Dirk has lost a step, or because he's just as 'soft' as Aldridge, but I don't see that matchup being as one sided as it once was.

And on the slip side Roy is clearly better than Caron. If we meet Dallas in the playoffs it will mainly be Roy and Aldridge vs. their counterparts in Butler and Dirk. Of course, the bench will be huge as well as Miller vs. Kidd, but whoever outduels the other between Roy and Aldridge against Dirk and Butler may have the upperhand.

I don't really worry about it myself, but that is because I know that Batum can and will give Dirk fits if the need arises. If Nic had a bit more weight he'd just do Dirk like S-Jax did a few years ago.
