Never was good at math but both us and the grizz have 10 games left. We have a 5 game lead and teh tie breaker by conference record... and they aren't catching us in conference record.... so.... 5 Blazer wins or 5 Grizz losses lock us in at least the 8th seed. wow...

this thread asks a question about our magic number... nothing about players. however if you want to rag on a player... bayless stinks. he almost gives away 4 points in 2 minutes play with his bad jumper and awful defense.
8th spot bah. more relevant is our magic number for 7th to avoid the lakers is now 10, with the spurs having the toughest remaining schedule in the entire league. there's no excuse for us to not finishing at least 7th.
our schedule isnt a cake walk either... 6 on road and 4 at home i can only see 4 slam dunk wins.... NYC, @Sac, @Clips, GS (and knicks always play us hard) that leaves us with 7 tough games.... @hornets, @OKC, @Den, @Lakers, OKC, Dallas after typing that... why do we have trouble vs the knicks? Last 4 games vs them... we went to OT, we beat them with a 4th qtr sharp shooting night from rudy, we beat on a last second roy layup, and they pounded us in NY in December. Why do tehy give us such a hard time?
It's all about position now. I've gotta commend this team for playing well here in the home stretch, especially considering they haven't had much of a chance to play together this season.
