They'll always change what they want him to prove, to justify him being president. Even if he was to provide the actual birth certificate, they'll still deny it. That's not an uncommon tactic. You just deny deny deny, and then ignore it. It gets hard not to see this as just people not liking the fact he's black.
This is actually a great issue to keep alive and on the front burner. It benefits Obama because it exposes the crazies on the far right that have taken control of the Pubs. I feel bad for actual conservatives because their party has been hijacked by religious and racial extremists. As a result they cannot be true to their conservative beliefs and still get elected. November is going to be a wake up call for conservatives because their party will slip further away from them even as the Pubs gain seats over the Dems. I think the big winner in all of this might be the Libs because they can perhaps pickup some support from the true conservatives as they look for an alternative. The Green party messed up some elections for the Dems and now the Tea Party will do the same for the Pubs.
I have no doubt he's born an american and fully qualified in those terms to be president. Why he doesn't just produce a birth certificate is beyond me.
He's produced a Hawaii certificate of live birth, which is functionally equivalent. I'm glad he doesn't keep producing documentation. No one who matters thinks he might not be a US citizen. Keeping the nutjobs in the news hurts his opposition, not him.

I'm not a birther. I just want to see this thing put to rest. I think he was born in Hawaii, but that the birth certificate that has been provided was redacted adding more fuel to this silly fire.
It will never be put to rest. There's a small segment of people who just can't or don't want to believe that a black man of his origins can be President, and will not accept ANY answer that changes that belief. A signed note from God could come down from the heavens that stated that he was an American Citizen, and they wouldn't care. Their hate needs an outlet.
