Are you a blazer fan? Or did you just search for forums to ask this questoin and this was number 1? lol Use a cord that you connect a normal computer monitor to a normal computer with. Thats how I always do it. Connect one part to your laptop and then the other to the tv. A cord like this
If it is a newer TV, then you should have an HDMI connection. If your laptop has an HDMI port as well, just buy an HDMI cable and hook it up to the TV. That will use your TV as a monitor for your laptop and i'm sure you can figure it out from there. That is how me and my friend hook ours up to his flat screen LCD TV and just watch a movie we have on disc or download on iTunes or Windows Media Player or whatever works best for your computer. No problem. For HDMI, the TV pretty much becomes a second monitor for your laptop, which is good. Especially if you want to play games or watch a movie.
