Bayless has plenty of time to improve. Like someone said above, Collison played 4 years @ UCLA under a very good coach. I honestly thought he would be bad in the NBA because his jumper was so ugly but CP3 has had plenty of time to give him pointers and beat the shit out of him in practice. Imagine if Bayless had 6 months with CP3 to help him out with his game...the guy is going to be a great coach at some point.

Mixums off season plan.

1. Fire KPEE. Find a clever GM who can make trades like the lakers did with gasol or mavs did with butler. A GM who can finsih the puzzle.

2. PRIORITY #1 as far as roster - RESIGN CAMBY. Biggest thing we do all summer. If the Blazers dont... its a failure right off the bat.

3. Trade Bayless and Martell for the future PG of this team. Hell trade them for french fries... just get them off this team. They both stink.

4. Work on Batums offense. He needs to average at leats 15 a night to be legit as a starter iMO.

5. Hope Monty Williams stays.

6. Get a priest to perform an exorcism in the locker room.

7. Decide Gregs future either extension or match next year? i say let the gimp go.

8. Have Rudy bulk up. Hes too fragile.

9. Resign Howard to a 1 year deal.

10. Draft anything but a euro. Please.

 

I like how Mixum went from "when the regular seasons ends if we make the playoffs" to "after the playoffs end". Changing the rules all the time, Rudy.

 

Mixums real priorities for the off season.

1. Put a hit out on KP.
2. Trade Oden for Yi.
3. Hate life.
4. Support Martell until he stops getting playing time, then throw him under the bus.
5. Burn the Rose Garden to the ground then start a campaign to move the Blazers to Seattle.
6. Touch innocent children.
7. Buy a Westbrook jersey and wear it as a nightgown.
8. Bury KP under the RG.
9. Claim the sky is falling on an hourly basis.
10. Delete S2 account.

You always have these great plans, but you have never come up with a way to make them work. Who, MIXUM?

If they hire the wrong guy, we can spend the next years of complaining about the new GM. That would be freak'n awesome.

A team needs a glue guy. Nic plays great D, and contributes when he has open shots. That's his role, and if he wasn't happy in it, the team would probably need to look for another SF. Not everyone is going to get as many shots as they'd like.

Brandon seemed to be worrying about touches; both when Greg started getting more shots, and before he and Dre learned to play together. When both Greg and Dre are starting with Brandon and LMA, Nic isn't likely to be getting 13-14 shots a night.
