Voyeur is just a nightclub in LA. That's it really. They probably popped some bottles and partied there one night, 2 grand is like 3 bottles of liquor and tip. They had go-go dancers, big whoop.

"I think it certainly suggest a certain tone deafness," confirmed Mark DeMoss, a longtime GOP donor who has decided to stop giving to committees.

At least the Repugnants will never be accused of being color-blind. :devilwink:

Republicans do seem jealous of the "liberal lifestyle," yes. I think they regret their party being hijacked by the Puritan Right. ;)

Not at all, I think the love of Lesbian Bondage is the common ground that both parties have been looking for.

Finally a stimulus package we can all agree upon.

What bothers me more than where the money was spent (which doesn't bother me at all) is that it was spent in the first place. The GOP leadership needs to send a message of fiscal responsibility by flying coach, staying in Motel 6's and eating at Applebee's. The best way you can show that you'll be careful with other people's money is to penny pinch with the GOP's funds.

That would be if they actually cared about being fiscally conservative. But obviously they don't. :dunno:

Yeah, I think that's right. The Republicans are using the Tea Party folks to generate enthusiasm to get people to vote their opposition out of power. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I'm in a real "throw the bums out" mood. I had always resisted term limit legislation as I thought term limits could occur every time there was an election, but I've changed my mind.

Well it is a difficult situation, would you want your librarian to be only involved in that field for 4 or 8 years? Or perhaps a teacher? Do law makers not have as much responsibility as a teacher? Would you not want a professional to teach, why not someone that makes your laws and understands where loop-holes might get exploited that need closing (ideally).

I think laws too difficult to understand shouldn't be proposed in the first place.

I'm a believer in the citizen-legislator. Someone that is 100% subject to the laws they create, who comes from their areas and when they're done, returns there and resumes their life. In fact, I think the Congress is in session too long. I'd like to see them spend more time back home in their districts. There's a reason Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi wouldn't let their members return to their districts before they voted on health care.
