To pray and become 76er's fans! We need all the good mojo we can get! We could be in 6th place all by ourselves within the next 3 hours! "Help me Moses Malone, your our only help!"
Can Portland lend Andre Miller back to Philadelphia for this game? They're a much better team with him, unsurprisingly.
Oh you must not have heard? Miller is a very average point guard and has never made any team he's been on better.
You want me to invoke a prayer to the dark ones? I save that for only really important situations, like making a pool shot to win a rack of beer on a bet. But for this situation, I will call to the dark ones for help if needed!
What the fuck? Miller clearly has made teams better. Every team he's played on, in my opinion. His lack of playoff wins are a bit of a concern, but he's never played in the playoffs with a roster like this one. I think the Blazers will beat any team they play in the first round not named the Lakers. They are a MUCH better road team this season than they were last season, and I have to believe that they will play much better at home in the playoffs than they have in the regular season.
I don't think he has a lack of playoff wins, Philly has pushed several teams deep into their first round series before losing. The only thing is he never really advanced into the playoffs. But he definitely got wins. He has also performed better in the playoffs than in the regular season in all but one year of his career. That shows the ability to take the game up another level.
I meant series wins, not winning games. I don't really care if a team loses 4-0 or 4-3 in the playoffs. At the end of the day, it's all about winning that 4th game. Miller has played on average-to-good teams; that was my point.
Philadelphia, you've been a peculiar team to play against. For some reason you know how to play the Trail Blazers. We've had our differences before. We took an NBA Championship from you. But today, we are friends. Make this happen, Sixers. Make this happen.
Yea I hear what you are saying. But you have to admit, most of those Philly teams didn't have a chance in hell to win the series. So I take the series losses as what was probably, inevitable.
I not only admit it, it is the point I was trying (unsuccessfully, it appears) to make. I think our opinions are basically coming from the same place.
Not going to be disappointed if OKC wins tonight. Tomorrow they have Boston in Boston. Not that the Celtics have really done us any favors lately.
No....Man!!!! Fuck You Maaaaaan!!!!!!
Do we even really want to be in 6th? Getting the 7th would likely put us against the Mavs right now insead of Utah or Denver. That being said, there's still a lot to be decided, so who knows where everyone will end up.
