Family Guy gets too stupid some times. Some of the things in that show are just too dumb. The Simpsons have excellent character development and plot. It is pretty funny too. But sadly, anything beats the current Simpsons episodes.All Time Simpsons>Family GuyCurrent Simpsons<Family Guy.
I love the Simpsons I really do, but Famil Guy is funnier. Some of you won't get all the jokes though.

The Simpsons so boring and overrated...FamilyGuy owns...I just think some of the jokes and people they mention don't register with most kids.

Season 9 I believe had some of the best plots ever, that show was never boring before 1997.
