So what you are saying is that there are known knows, known unknowns and unknown uknowns? Good to know, I know for sure that I'll keep my eyes open for any of these unknown unknowns. Know what I'm saying?

You are missing Unknown Knows - and do not tell me that Unknown Knows are the same as Knows Unknown - because this is not a Symmetric relation! (*)

Their other worst moves, drafting Telfair and drafting Martell over CP3 and Deron Williams, also had nothing to do with cutting payroll. Unless it was future payroll for future all stars. Let's face it, the talent evaluation and maneuvering to get chosen players has KP written all over it.

That's wierd. You call posters parrots at the same time you say that this is probably just more Wankstain emailing bloggers. That sounds like something some media poeple or Blazer personel would want you to say in response to the article.

Are you just parroting the typical response or do you have quotes or citations to show Wankstain is behind this?

Yeah, I mentioned "terrible drafting" in my post. I was too lazy to list each bad draft pick. ;)

I tried to block them out of the memory nodes of my brain, but unfortunately, I go to every home game, and Martell Webster comes back out on the court and reconnects the memory nodules!!:tsktsk:

Yes and since they are not written, you should at the very least question the thesis/subject/concept/information of the article.

I remember getting into an argument with someone on here about this exact same subject earlier this year. I remember reading an article in the Oregonian a year or two ago saying that Patterson was actually the guy who brought in Roy and Aldridge. I couldn't find the article though, so the argument faded away. I have a feeling that Patterson might have been the guy who made the calls, but Pritchard was the guy who was pulling the strings.

Fuck Patternash. Those fools were directly responsible for making this franchise the laughingstock of the league.

    21 wins. ugh.

    He's gotta check his facts:

The Rockets didn't sweep the Magic in 94. They beat the Knicks in 7.

Pritchard has done such a great job of taking credit for Patterson's doings that Patterson still can't get a job in the NBA. Pritch has bamboozled every owner in the NBA! Patterson built the team! Why can't Patterson get a job?!

Steve Patterson was a fucking nightmare. Mark Warkentein is going off the deep end spreading this shit to various writers.

I strongly suggest you listen to the interview he gave on the MSP yesterday morning (link above) the guy sounds like his consulting business, brokering stadium deals and the sale of minor league sports franchises, is going well and frankly he sounds happy as hell. I don't think he was a great NBA executive by any means, but neither do I think he's exactly pushing hard to get back into the league.

I heard Patterson. I still can't stand the guy, and I know people that worked under his reign of terror.

I wonder how he lives with himself, considering he shit-canned some good people for no good reason.

Now, with this article, and Patterson suddenly showing up in interviews, it's clear that the Steve Patterson image rehabilitation tour is in full effect. I wonder what the douche's angle is this time?
