Is all this "frustrated with Karzai" talk just a show to make him seem like less of a Western puppet?

I honestly hope that is the case. Because when he said that "thinking of joining the Taliban" line, it was quite upsetting.

 

Now an ex envoy is saying he believes Karzai has a drug problem. It is also believed his brother runs drug smuggling operations.
