Bingo. The very thought makes me shudder. (And yes, even if he were to "lead" the Blazers to a championship, it would not alter my feelings. I have the Pistons or the Clippers as my backup plan were that scenario ever to play out.)
I'd love to have all three of those guys, in their primes, on the Blazers. Wow, what a great team! And no, there isn't.
Two, actually. Ricky Davis and Bonzi Wells. All others that I hate on other teams (BIRDMAN) I would probably love on the Blazers. EDIT: I misunderstood the question. Stop cheering for the Blazers all together? None. Never cheer for a player ON the Blazers? Two.
If the anal rapist became a Blazer, I would not be a Blazers fan in any sense of the word. I would actively campaign for their demise.
Iverson would be my least-favorite addition (and has been that way for a while)... but I'd still root for the team irrespective of any player or players on the team. Ed O.
I'm mainly only opposed to adding players with no talent. If this team went back to the bad old days of Telfair, Monia, Ha et al. I'd lose a lot of enthusiasm. I'd still watch, but I'd probably have a lot fewer reasons/opportunities to cheer.
I would have trouble with Kobe, especially since he stopped us from winning it in 2000 but then again, Pip stopped us in 1992 and I embraced him when he came over.
In not so crude a way, I would never want to see Kobe. He raped that girl and then intimidated and bought his way out of prison- only because he could. He's a disgusting human being.
The name on the front of the uniform is more important than the name on the back. In other words - no.
I'll never stop cheering for the Blazers, but Kobe would make if really difficult to watch the team. I'd be totally fine with KG being a Blazer.
