the Clips have their well documented sucking issues, but hats off to their announcers. Best in the league IMO

On the contrary, I think Nate has gotta find a better way to jumpstart the three. Their collective confidence is rubbish right now. Having a strong bench is gonna be crucial in the playoffs. I don't like the prospects of Juwan Howard being our 6th man.

 

That's really hard to do with Bayless is getting owned by Blake, Martell is wandering about the court like a lost toddler and Rudy is using practice time to jack up left handed threes.

Better to hide them on the bench this season and try to get them going next year in the beginning of the regular season where they can't hurt the team as much.

 

my point was that I think those three need more starters around them to kind of hide their flaws, clearly putting all three in a lineup just isn't working, they can't seem to get into any kind of flow and keep stepping all over their own dicks.

Secondly, a strong bench really isn't critical at all in the playoffs; starters typically 40 minutes a night and you really only need maybe 1 or 2 guys off the bench who can give you a little bit of pop for short stretches ... and I agree that Juwan Howard as your sixth man maybe isn't ideal, but the guy plays hard, smart and at least doesn't kill the team when he's out there.
