and end up getting swept by Cleveland anyways? OR Do you want the Bulls to take it so the Raptors get some ping pong balls for the lottery?
i want the bulls to take it because of the reasons stated in the game thread. and as an aside- the bulls have let ben gordan and john salmons go for nothing more than cap space and by the end of tonight- they will be in tie for the 8th spot with us. shame on u colangelo!!!
Well, if we lose we can let the balls do the work, but than we have that huge risk of Bosh leaving, unless we grab a high pick. If we get number 1 and John Wall, mark my word; Championship.
Playoffs. We have young players already. Weems, DeRozan, Johnson--another pup won't change our fortunes for at least a few years. Ain't like Bosh is an old man, either.
Bulls likely will lose to Cleveland. Toronto just lost Bosh and then the game to the Celtics. Toronto gets Atlanta and us next. We get New Jersey and Toronto. It's not unreasonable for us to be tied (but behind due to tie breaker) after we beat NJ, and the Raptors-Bulls game would be pretty much for 8th. Then it would be up the Bulls to hold on to it. They face Boston and Charlotte, neither a gimme. Toronto's schedule gets easier - Pistons and Knicks. Conceivably, the Bulls lose to Boston and beat Charlotte, but Toronto wins those rather easy games and gets 8th via tie-breaker.
the raps will probably lose to the pistons and the knicks. The knicks are bad but the raps might not be able to keep up with them on offensive without Bosh.
i dunno about that. the knicks are defensively challenged and their players are looking only to enhance their personal stats because of their impending free agency (e.g. harrington, tmac). although, the pistons might be a different story because we matchup poorly with them and they are relatively healthy these days.
