well your an ass then. without him this team couldnt hold together, he keeps the ego's from running wild, keeps them in check. Too many negative nancy's on this board. Makes things a bit depressing. I think if we start being a little more positive, the positive energy will flow into the lakers locker room and lift the team up out of thier laziness, who's with me? ...
I was annoyed by him holding the ball too damn long last night, but whatever. It was almost a moral victory over Denver to be able to be in the game (and leading at one point) while missing 2 of our best players. Denver can't play us like that in the playoffs when we have Kobe and potentially Bynum back, otherwise they'll be swept. And I'm with Mamba, I'm ready for the playoffs. More specifically the 2nd round, because I don't foresee any first round issues.
I think Phil and the front office had some problems if they thought Derek was going to be the solution this year. Might as well get Shannon more into a flow, he's the one with a future.
The end of the game was a giant clusterfuck today. Missed FTs, bad fouls by both teams. At least we showed some resiliency in the last minute or so with the comeback, but fell short.
Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but Celtics Lakers, finals. These two teams are the championship tested veteran teams, I honestly think they both just faced complacency during the season. Now the giants awaken.....
The only way the Celtics make it to the Finals is if KG shows up. He played like a shell of himself most of the season, always worrying about that knee. If he plays passive like he did all year, they have no chance in beating the Hawks, Magic or Cavs.
