The Religious Right may control the opinions in the media, but you don't represent the majority of Americans on sexual issues.
It means, you and the media pundits may side with some idiotic religiously-motivated marriage advocate who harrasses Tiger Woods, but most people don't mind him at all, and most golf fans are still his fans in a big way. It means that the hateful media (right now, CNN, Fox, etc. run a couple of hours of hatred of him every night) never represents the side of the tens of millions of Americans who see the institution of marriage as oppressive.
