Only 31% of those polled approve of Mr. Bush's job performance; 68% believe the United States is worse off today than it was before Bush became president. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/05/09/...in1604495.shtml
It seems like things have been going downhill since then, I just don't understand why people were happy with his first term to being with.
I have no idea, this country is half retarded and most people I know that voted don't know anything, so watching the news for 10 minutes could give them a whole new outlook...idiots.
People think he's such a great Christian and that's why he gets votes, which is ridiculous. He's not mentally capable to run the most powerful nation in the world, and he's not even a good Christian. It's a bunch of proaganda to get Conservative votes.
They re-elected him because of two things:1. Countries don't like to change in leadership during war.2. John Kerry ran an awful campaign

Kerry did run a piss poor campaign, his staff kept leaving and new people came in, he could never clarify or get his message across (the media being a huge factor)...he never took charge or ended allegations (the war issue) and let them drag on.
He actually didn't flip flop, don't believe the conservative attack ad's. If you look at his stances on the issues they are all the same throughout, it's just that he got sloppy and used language that could confuse an 'average' person and he didn't explain as well as he could have certain things.

Most people that are 'above average' couldn't figure out what Kerry was saying half the time. (Me included).
