<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Portland Trail Blazers forward Ruben Patterson, who missed two weeks with left Achilles tendinitis, was activated from the injured list Wednesday.

Patterson was placed on the injured list November 5 and sat out seven games, during which the Trail Blazers went 4-3. He played the first three games of the season, averaging 7.3 points.

The defensive-minded reserve should restore some depth to the Trail Blazers, who are without injured guard Derek Anderson and suspended swingman Bonzi Wells.

Personally I don't see the nanny-stopper helping us very much right now. As Kobe Bryant one said; "he is a garbage player." Now that we have Randolph scrapping in the paint, we dont really need Patterson's boards and garbage points (put-backs).

However if he is willing to play a role that consists solely of D and running the floor, he may be somewhat beneficial.

Ruben was the key to our team back then.

Check the record, we went from winners to losers the very day Ruben left.

Dude was also brainless, and made as many ridiculous decisions as good moves. Really, he's just a stupider version of Martell: more muscle, less mind.
