I'm not sure about the story, just found it on google...probably a soldier against the war. (Besides the Army sucks, a lot of people I go to school with want out.)
Yes I agree, I would never join. I was just trying to figure out what the story behind it was. As I've said before, I would never join because I don't want something like that to happen to me when I'm not even fighting for a cause that I believe in.
If that guy joined the Army on his own accord, then he should have expected the counsequences. So if that's the case, I feel no sorrow for him.
The army is very decieving with their propaganda about what the army really is and what they make it out to be.
Yeah especially for the cause that we're fighting right now, it would be different if it were the 1940's and there was some crazed faciast trying to take over the world, the war were in right now is pointless. I feel so bad for those soliders in Iraq, they have no purpose being there right now, they just wander the streets and are sitting ducks for the crazy rebels that are just looking to kill Americans. For the past year nobody has died in combat, it's always "hit by a roadside mine", "hit by a suicide bomb", it's f*cking awful, they're losing their life for no reason.
