<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Truthfully, I don't see any player in the league quite like Boris Diaw. The man is big and strong, yet he has the abilities of a PG. He can basically do anything on the basketball court. The only thing i've not seen him do is shoot the three, but that may be for the best since he creates so much from the low and high post. This guy has all the tools, IMO, to be a "superstar." (Especially in the Phx offense) Imagine this.. 18ppg, 9rpg and 8apg. I think he has the ability to average those numbers.</div> I really doubt it that, but list any other players who aren't thought of as being/developing into superstars and will.

One player is Tayshaun Prince. This year he could have been an all star and in a couple of years could be a star in this league. He is lenky and a great defender and his offensive game has improved every year, watch out for him in a year or two.

Well I'd say Josh Howard has that potential...he will become the 2nd best player on the Mavs, and will be that supporting person that gets Dirk and the Mavs over the hump.Alot like Tayshaun Prince really.

Boris Diaw. We are talking about a guy that gets equal touches compared to everyone else on that roster besides Steve Nash, and puts up 13, 7, and 7. If an offense was ran through him on a good team, he could be a 20,8, and 8 threat

jamal crawford. i know it's risky saying this but i truly think he's got that potential. he can score, he can take you to the hole, athletic as hell and he can pass his only problem is his size and defense but i still think he's got the potential. he showed consistency the last month of the year. :yess:

Jamal Crawford? Are you kidding me? All he can do is score. He can't pass. He can't defend. He's your stereotypical NBA player:Selfish, only cares about scoring. He can do nothing else

One month out of his whole career. Yea, that is going to continue. Let me guess, you thought the Warrioirs were going to make the playoffs this year because of their strong finish last season?Let's get this straight: Any player who enters the NBA has the potential to be great, but only some players actually become great.

I like marvins pick of Josh Howard, and this playoff series is going to really prove it i think. He plays decent defense, drives to the rim very well, can grab down rebounds, and his jumper is getting much better. A stat that is in his corner for being in the verge of superstar status, every time he scores 20 points or more this season, the Mavs have won. Now all he has to do is approach that 20 point level, with a little more consistency.

Howard has really stepped it up, I doubt he will ever be a superstar (he's already 26) but he can be a great #2 type option, where would the Mavericks be without Josh Howard?

I think Nate Robinson needs to grow taller.

I think Jameer Nelson will be a big part of Orlando's team next year whom I think will qualify for the playoffs. He wont be a superstar caliber player, but I wouldnt be surprised to see 15-16 ppg and 6 apg numbers out of him..

Actually as far as fame and recognition go, i think it might be better for Robinson to stay at the height he is. If he can just get more playing time, which i believe he deserves from what i saw this year, he will be a fan favorite. Everyone loves the short guy out there playing, especially the short guy that can dunk.
