Now we MUST beat OKC. We beat them and take care of business against GS and we're the 6th seed.

MRI scheduled for tomorrow. We'll see, but I imagine Brandon wanted to play through it, but was stopped by the medical staff.

It's all pending an MRI of course ... but a knee injury typically doesn't have many 'minor' categories. Hopefully it's just a sprain.

The MRI worries me - like you I hope it is just a sprain, and more specifically that they're just being super cautious because of Roy's previous surgery/tear on that knee in college.

It's rare for me to participate in game threads during the action (I like to watch) but I often read them after it's over for laughs. Big games like this one often become a competition of which poster can shit themselves the most. I can't declare a winner for today's game as there were so many filling their pants with all their might... great effort all around guys, thanks for the laughs!

Fun game too. Great effort by Aldridge Camby Miller and Batum... I was amazed Martell came through with 6 straight free throws. Thats got to build some confidence for the club.

It sure seems like the bench has come back just at the right time.

I just noticed that the Lakers can't finish with a better road record than Portland. Portland is 24-17, the Lakers are 23-17. Imagine if the Blazers had been reasonably healthy.

    Marcus-freaking-Camby!

I am one of the people who have been critical of KP for his seeming reluctance to make in-season moves.....but this was a bloody damn good one!

I hope we see Camby in a Blazer uniform next season.

I hope he's got some Mutombo tenure in him.

Think about how effective a three-man rotation of Oden, LMA and Camby could be next year. That's 21 feet of hell for the opponent.

BTW, three cheers for LaMarcus. He's really stepped up his game.

Yep. I've been really pleased (mostly) with him the second half of the season. He looks to have a little bit of an edge lately and doesn't seem to be shying away from contact as much.

Absolutely and I see no reason why you can't mix and match those three together in any combination.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Yup. An Oden/Aldridge/Camby rotation differs from an Oden/Aldridge/Przybilla rotation for exactly that reason. There are very few times when you'd ideally want to go with an Oden/Przybilla combination. But Oden can fit very well with either Aldridge or Camby, and we've seen that Aldridge and Camby work well together.

Very true. I think Oden and Joel could be on the floor at times, but they would be limited compare to what Oden and Camby could do.

LA has played much better the second half. I've always been a defender of his, but it is nice to see him fighing inside like he is now. He seems a different player inside now.
