Actually, I think that "around 20" is street slang for "highly intoxicated," as in, "I drank around 20 beers that night," or "I must have had around 20 hits of acid." I'm pretty sure this was last week.
I was once handcuffed and ready to go. But they realized they had the wrong person and cut me loose with a lecture.
OK, so someone on my facebook just honestly used the term "fams" and idk what to think of this... honestly considering deleting him.
1984..........Two days and nights.....for.........running red light, d.w.i. (2.8), concealed weapon, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer. I got a good deal on that one.
In two countries, but both were for Prison Ministry, so it's probably not what you're looking for. Guatemalan prison makes San Quentin look like White Collar Golf prison.
I've been locked up three times: once in Chicago (where I got the "Officer Koharsky") for running a stop sign I didn't see, having long hair, Oregon license plates and bloodshot eyes from driving 18 hours; once in New York, where I spent the night in the drunk tank; and once in Lake Oswego when I was seven. LO used to have an informal "scared straight" program where if a child shoplifted (I tried to steal Mentos from the old Swift Mart in Mountain Park), the parents could request that the child was taken to the LO police station and put in a cell until the parents came to pick them up. They should have called it "scared shitless" because it worked like a charm.
