Scenario 1 1. We beat OKC. That puts us a full game ahead of them. Both games on wed the OKC/MEM & and SAN/DAL start at 5 so we will know the outcome before our game starts. Dallas def has #2 locked up. All they have to do is beat the clips and they have the second seed by tie breakers. 2. San Antonio Beats Dallas (Dallas doesn't have much to play for) and OKC beats Memphis. I think we rest our starters and lose to golden state. That puts San Antonio in sixth us in seventh and OKC in eighth. Scenario 2 1. We lose to OKC. Beat Golden state. 2. SA Beats Dallas OKC loses/Beats Memphis. We end up eighth 3. Dallas beats SA, OKC Loses/Beats Memphis we end up seventh. I think this is right. I like scenario 1 much better then its in our hands. Scenario 2 puts our destiny in San Antonio's hands don't like that. Some one please double check. I don't think we want to win both games that means we end up sixth which mean we face denver or utah unless phoenix pulls off a miracle. Why does roy have to be out for the most important game of the year?
Thanks for a clarifying post (no sarcasm). We're gonna win out. And we're fucked. We're playing Utah or Denver and either of those teams could take us out in 5 games. If that shit happens, I will be pissed off. Big time.
why not rest guys against golden state? Is that a crime say Lamarcus gets a bone bruise or something!
For every time he scores, Travis Diener comes into the game for him and Bayless is benched for a minute.
I think we gotta win tomorrow for sure. Then, as you said in scenario 1, we can kind of do what we want. That would give us the edge to rest our starters *cough* throw the GS game *cough* or not. I think tomorrow is going to be big, it will just depend on how well a player like Rudy can step up w/o Roy. Should be fun to watch. I can't believe how little is actually set in the West. Outside of Dallas and LA everyone is pretty much tied with someone. Two 3 way ties as of right now, gonna make this week pretty awesome!
