Best possible news he could have gotten given the symptoms he was complaining about (eg. "Not feeling right", "felt like when I tore my meniscus", etc.) I'll be anxious to see if this new found nasty streak LMA has going carries over and if the bench continues to be productive.
Aldridge has been our steadiest most dependable player on our team this season (as long as I have amnesia about he game against Orlando).
Do we win 35 games without Aldridge and Miller? I certainly don't think so. They've both been huge(and healthy). And as much as people might bitch about Aldridge, myself not excluded, let's face it: We're about to win 50 games with LMA as our #1 big for most of the season. And Miller? I told my rich buddy who likes to bet on O/U wins for the season: Whatever the O/U on wins for Philly, take the under. Bet the house on it. That's hardly a team without Dre. Those 2 guys have been the keys, when you look at the ENTIRE season.
Yup. If we had been forced to run Blake, Rudy, Sergio and Bayless out there as our 4 guard rotation when Brandon was out I don't imagine things would have gone all that well.

ESPNs version doesnt sound too good Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy will miss Monday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder because of a right knee injury he suffered against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. Roy had an MRI exam on his right knee after the team returned to Portland Sunday night. The Oregonian, citing an unnamed team source, reported that Roy has a bone contusion. In text messages to ESPN.com, Roy confirmed he will not play Monday, but said a final diagnosis has not been made because a radiologist was unavailable to look at the MRI results. The Trail Blazers play their final game of the regular season Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors. Portland has clinched a postseason berth and will begin the playoffs on the road, either Saturday or Sunday. Roy hopes to be available for the playoffs and said for now the plan for his knee is to "rest and let it calm down, and in a couple days see where I'm at." Roy injured the knee when his legs tangled with Lakers forward Ron Artest in the first quarter of Portland's 91-88 win. "My foot got caught and my knee kept going," Roy told reporters afterward. He played for slightly more than a minute in the second quarter before leaving the game for good. "I was trying to go out there because we were trying to fight for a higher seed," he said. "But I was like, 'Let me just pass it, I don't feel like I can move.' " Roy is the Blazers' leading scorer at 21.8 points per game. He struggled with a sore back in recent days, missing practice to rest up for the playoffs.
