"And if Portland and San Antonio win, it's (1) Lakers vs. (8) Oklahoma City, (2) Utah vs. No. (7) San Antonio, and (3) Dallas vs. (6) Portland."

I think I like the sound of that scenario best...

Personally, I'm still hoping the Mavs and Suns win their remaining two games, and for us to beat OKC tonight (obviously). That way, the Mavs & Suns end up being the #2 and #3 seeds, respectively, and we end up no worse than #7 (if we were to win tonight) or, perhaps, #6.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Mavs and Suns being the 2/3 seeds would be fantastic. As long as Portland doesn't finish #8, that's two very winnable series to reach the Western Conference Finals.

Agreed. I'd love to see Denver, Utah, and LA all on the same side of the bracket.

Agreed. I just want us to go out there and beat the Thunder tonight so we stay out of the 8th seed guaranteed. It would be glorious if it was Dallas and Phoenix in the 2-3 spots, but I doubt with our luck that will happen.

I doubt he's taking into account Roy being out, but I hope it turns out this way!

This is by far, the dream scenario,

    My choice of opponents are,
    1 Suns
    2 Mavs
    3 Denver
    4 Lakers
    5 Jazz

Plus, playing the suns probably hurts the secondary market the most for blazers playoff tickets, so those of you having to buy from scalpers probably get the cheapest price in this matchup.

So the likeliest match-up is Dallas (50%), if all else goes the way it should.

I still don't understand why people want to avoid the Lakers. They're probably the team we have the best chance of beating. That said, we'll win tonight so it doesn't matter.

Well, if the Lakers are throwing games to us and still only lose by 3. I would hate to play them in the Playoffs, you know... when they are actually "trying".

It would be a massacre. (Or at least that's what my sources tell me.)
