Man those guys are brutal. Rudy cant score unless its a wide open three and bayless got abused by MAYNOR! Both these guys need to be dealt this summer. Prob Martell too but at least he has some damn heart and has his moments. Those 2 guys look like deer in headlights.

And listen... unless Rudy is trying to suck... that guy wont ever start in NAB unless its because of injury or the team has no other option. He is not that good.

I have lost all respect, ALL respect, for Rudy. If you're gonna bitch and bitch and bitch about playing time, then you better drop a nice game before our eyes, when you get the chance to start like he did tonight. He's a fine bench player but he should keep his mouth shut when it comes to playing time. At least Bayless stepped up to the plate when he got to start against the Spurs. He dropped 30+ on the Spurs. Honestly, if Roy is out for the players, I'd much rather start Bayless at the 2 and give Diener a little run at backup PG if needed.

I have to agree if Roy can't play, Bayless should play the 2. He plays a similar game to Roy, needs the ball on can drive to the basket. Rudy should be coming off the bench.

He actually got scouted by NBA scouts, and coaches made adjustments. That was a once in a lifetime dunk for Rudy, at least in terms of the NBA. He hasn't adapted his game at all.

It's nice to see Webster get a little bit of his confidence back anyway, he made one of the worst plays I've ever seen a Blazer commit in a crucial game and time against the Lackers, but with those clutch free throws, and then his really nice D on Durant and his not settling for the jumper tonight I gained some newfound respect for him.

As for Bayless and Rudy, maybe they'll get it going a little bit Wednesday against the Warriors, but it's not looking real good for the playoffs.

Rudy was very good tonight. He does so many things that don't show up in the boxscore.

His International experience will really pay off in these playoffs. To him, it's just another game, where you can see how Batum chokes up a bit, as does Bayless.

I was very pleased with Bayless' second half production as he adjusted (based upon what I assume was some "teaching" by Nate) at halftime. Bayless will only learn how to play under these conditions while playing under these conditions.

Unfortunately, we're only 7 deep going into the playoffs with Camby, Aldridge, Miller and Howard as our "dependable" players and Batum, Webster, and Rudy as our solid, but not-so-dependable players. Bayless may contribute some, but he more likely will have more negative minutes than positive minutes.

Dan Dickau might be a help here. He'd be better than Bayless as a Point Guard, and more than likely could handle the pressure because of his many years in the league (sort of like Martell's years of experience have shown up in these big games lately, where Batum and Bayless have wilted). He also already played for Nate just a bit ago.

Nic had 12 points on 5-9 shooting and helped hold Durant to 40% shooting. How is that choking?

It's not. I wasn't talking specifically about tonight.

Batum is a great player already, but he has faded down the stretch during the more important games. His shots have been off in this games and he's not been the "complete" player that he normally is. I think he has the 2nd most talent on this team behind Roy. But, I think Martell is going to be better than him during the playoffs because of the difference in experience between the two. It's already shown up the last 10-14 days. Batum's going to continue to be up-and-down, where Martell will be more consistent in the all-around game, and in the playoffs you have to be doing it in every aspect of the game.

You my friend are wrong. Nic is a hell of a lot more important to our success then Marty. His play on the Defensive end will be invaluable come playoff time.
