What sucks is that the time to oust the Lakers is NOW and not the WCF.

The Lakers are shaky right now. If we had gotten the #8 seed, we could've hit them when they were down. If we face them in the WCF (likely), they will have gained a lot of confidence and momentum and will be a tougher out.

I'm rooting for the Thunder because I always ALWAYS root for the Lakers to lose but I'll be jealous if the Thunder pull it off. Doesn't look like it will happen, though, based on how the Thunder looked these last two games. The Thunder will win a couple home games but that will probably be it.

I can only dream we end up with a problem of having to matchup with the Lakers in the conference finals.

Don't worry, my sources tell me Lakers Blazers is going to happen in the WCF because yesterdays game was so fucking epic the entire solar system will be watching.

I've been told Gasol and Bryant were dry humping each other at the Hollywood Bowl tonight over this result.

Yep. Let them get up 17 near the end of the third quarter of Game 7 then come back to win it. Now THAT would be revenge.

Make no mistake, despite the massive struggles of the Lakers lately, there's not a chance in hell the Zombie Sonics get through a seven game series against Phil Jackson and that front line when they've got home-court.

Perhaps, but I have a feeling that losing at home in such a crucial seeding game as this one would have maybe had longer term negative effects ... Dave from Blazersedge.com put it nicely in his preview this morning.

No. I said the Lakers were getting out of the first round. My sources say the Bucks are being primed to win it all. America loves a Cinderella story.

*edited* Your sources? You're not that connected. The Bucks won't sniff the finals. All year you've been about these Cinderella teams...it ain't going to happen. It is going to come down to the Cavs, Magic, or Lakers to win the championship. Right now, repeat....RIGHT NOW, my money is on the Cavs. I have no idea how the Lakers are going to look come playoff time.

I'm surprised you think you can make it to the WCF, though. Why don't you get out of the 1st round, first? As of right now, you're slotted to play Denver. You were 1-3 against them in the regular season...good luck, brah. I'll be rooting for you though, I'd love to play you guys.

Sarcasm ... the lost literary device. I understood your posts, KingSpeed. Apparently, there are a lot of gullible people on the internet who took your thread at face value.

Considering how the Thunder have been playing lately, I will be surprised if they win a single playoff game.
