Would the publicity that Durant would get, and the trolling that we'd get here for taking Oden over Durant, be worth the Lakers losing in the first round?

It's not going to happen. Not even if they played 10 times.

Lakers in a sweep, five games at most.

I've managed to get through life with us passing on Michael Jordan.

I think I'll be able to deal with Oden v Durant.

I'm not even sure I'm rooting for the Thunder yet..I really loathe OKC and how they acquired a NBA franchise..I am sick of the Durant love (great player, but not top 5 mvp candidate)..tired of the media affection for Brooks.

Pretty sure we just beat that team.

Even without Greg, and without Brandon, and without Joel...

Ive thought about this also, Im not sur who Im voteing for because of it either. I really like OKC and it sucks that I feel like I have to root against them because of the whole stupid Oden/Durant thing, but if they have to much success to early then we will never hear the end of it. The thing that really sucks also is that if Oden had stayed healthy this season it wouldnt even be an issue.

I think the Soni ... er ... Tumblewe ... er Thunder will give the Lakers a run for their money, but with Bynum back in the lineup, and Odom back on the bench they're going to give them fits with their length. It goes without saying though that this will be their first rodeo and the physicality that LA is going to be able to get away with is going to make life hell.

Oden just said on the radio that he would give the MVP to Durant.

Something about Durant love coming from Oden that just doesn't sit right.

My hate for the L*kers > My bitterness of Oden's injury.

Get used to it. He came in second in ESPN's panel of 'experts' voting.
