<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Bucks Biggest Need Is A Lockdown Defender 10th May, 2006 - 1:41 pm Journal Sentinel - Bucks' GM Larry Harris said that the team's most glaring need next season is "an athletic swing player" who can serve as a lockdown defender. "I want him to be something different than what Michael (Redd) and Bobby (Simmons) bring to the table," Harris said.</div> Good luck, first off everyone needs a lockdown defender and they are few and far between. I wonder who would be the guy to bring in.... I can't really think of any free agents that match the description of what the Bucks need.

If you want a "lockdown" defender and want to get him before he gets even a bigger name throughout the league, you lock in on Wallace...Gerald that is.

I for one hope LH is looking for a Lowdown defender. They need someone. Redd and Simmons are NOT good defenders. Name one good defender on the Bucks roster right now?? What they need as well is a Starting PF. Andrew Bogut needs to play the center postion for him to excell. I just hope he Larry Harris does something at the draft. Should be intresting!Welcome UpNorthFan!

I did some research today and the perfect player the Bucks could pick up based on Larry Harris "greatest need" would be BOBBY JONES from Washington. He is a SG/SF player that simply put shuts down people. He has great Defensive skills. The Bucks need that type of player, What the Bucks should do is trade Magloire and Mo Willliams for a Solid starting PF.The link to Bobby Jones profile is:http://www.draftexpress.com/viewprofile.php?p=351

Bobby Jones is a stud, he plays 100% all the time and is one of the top defenders in the draft. But it appears that Larry Harris has promised PF Craig Smith that he will take him with the 39th pick which is dissapointing because Bobby Jones was a guy i've liked with Brandon Bowman.

It got mixed reviews with some good and some bad.Bobby Jones is a pretty sweet player. I think he would be in the rotation right away, over the likes of Toni Kukoc.

The Craig Smith rumor that the Bucks promised him to become the 39th pick of this years draft was UNTRUE... "The Bucks never committed to him at any time." Harris would consider him if he was still on the board when they pick at 39 however... Larry Harris insists that he is looking for a PF that can spread the floor for Magloire or an athletic 2/3 also.

I don't feel like adding an overrated stat padder like Al Harrington and his big contract in a sign and trade and then on top of it add a bad attitude guy like Salim Stoudamire.

Dump Magloire get bench help and we are fine, Noel is a lockdown defender and if we are having an issue with a player on a certain given night hes a perfect play that can play 1, 2,3,4 and defend well...Harris' coment kinda was bashing Redd and Simmons
