Come one, come all to the OFFICIAL Blue Jays season thread. I'm making one thread, because I don't know how many of you are die hard Jays fans like me so we can all talk here. So, Frasor needs to not ever do that again. Wells had a great game though. We play @ Texas again today at 8:05 where Canada's own Rich Harden takes on the greatest side burns in the history of baseball, Mr. Brian Tallet. 1 down, 161 to go,
2-1 with what should be 3 straight wins against Texas, and Vernon Wells with 4 HR and 7 RBI already...holy shit. Can someone say gold glove? So far so good for the Jays, but we've seen this before last year. I gotta say I love Wells coming out of the gate so hot, because usually it takes him a whole to get going, if he does at all. These Jays have got my fancy tickled already.
6-2, where are my fellow baseball and Jays fans? Vernon Wells is a bad, bad man right now and Alex Gonzalez is cashing cheques and breaking necks. Gotta say, the whole team is playing well. With the exception of maybe Jason Frasor who likes to blow saves, Kevin Gregg is a beast. Tonight we send Morrow to the mound against Danks, and I expect a win. Randy Ruiz may get his first start tonight at first base, as Gaston will probably sit Overbay and Snider. Both not hitting to well.
^LOL at both of you. Guess you guys just don't like baseball. Whatever, I don't mind talking to myself. And BasX, at least watch Jays highlights so you can add sooooooooomething. Jays won again, we're 7-3 and Eveland with another fine outing. 6 IP, 4 SO, 2 ER not bad at all. The Jays hitting continues to stay hot with Gonzalez hitting for 3 RBI and Snider FINALLY hitting a homer, which should hopefully get him out of his slump. Jays vs. Angles today as Marcum hits the mound against Weaver Jr. I expect a great game, with my prediction of another Jays victory. We're on a roll right now, and we need to stay hot. Weaver should be taken yard on more than one occasion, so getcha' popcorn ready.
7-5 right now, but only 1.5 back of first place. These two loses have been hard, but the Jays need to take the last game. Ricky "The dirtiest hook in baseball" Romero is taking the mound today and I can't wait. His last game was a gem, no doubt throwing for 12 K's.
Jays sporting a nice 19-14 record, only 3.5 games back of the Bronx Bombers for the wild card spot. Fred Lewis with a great game and very clutch HR. The Jays are clicking on all cylinders and now they face a very crucial series to see if they can separate themselves from the pack. A must win series against the Red Sox starts tonight as Lackey will take the mound and hopefully gets lit up for many homers and RBIs.
