Fuck that, he'd better say "Rip City!"

Actually, a "Hello, Cleveland" to start it off would really work in this case.

    KS,

Best wishes and good luck on that! I'm with everyone else, rep the Blazers when you perform! I'd be stoked just to go and watch the game - but to be a part should be a great experience!

Amazing. I actually sang "God Bless America" too at a Mets game shortly after Sept 11th. Very cool. Stood on top of the dugout.

    Stop being such a prick.

As for the main point of the thread: congrats, E! I'm happy for you and am confident you'll rock it. Have fun! :)

In all seriousness Eric, I didn't know you were a singer. Are you a singer who acts, or an actor who sings? Or stage-trained?

Not to derail this thread, but I sure do wish America, The Beautiful could (should) become our National Anthem. IMO, if for no other reason, it's much more conducive to eliciting heartfelt emotion.

Here's a particularly favorite rendition of mine.....

Perhaps we need a secret Blazers hand gesture during the anthem...kind of like Greg Ostertag's free throw thing...

Since we have two centers with busted kneecaps and B Roy just getting scoped, you could wear a knee brace with the Blazer logo.
