I made a highlight video. Hope you enjoy it!
I love Pendergraph. Like Dante too. Wish there was some way to get them a little more burn -- not too much -- but they can be effective. Those guys can play.
Both guys have shown some flashes that at minimum make me fairly sure they will stick in the league. That's not bad for a couple second rounders. And games like pendy just had make me wonder if he might have starter ability in him down the road.
It was fun seeing him give props and respect to Camby on the bench. He's surely helped him out a lot.
The guy gets very few opportunities on offense, yet he's 43/65 (.662) from the field and 18/20 (.900) from the free throw line. He's a good rebounder and shot blocker, and he averages 1.07 TO per 36 minutes. Maybe next year he'll get some run. (edit):He also has one assist to his name. I don't think I could find another player with a 98 rebound to 1 assist ratio anywhere. LOL
He had a good game, but so did Tolliver, and it seemed that Pendergraph was guarding him most of the game. I still find it difficult to get at all excited about Pendergraph. He seems too small to be a center and to slow to be a power forward. He also isn't particularly young (turns 23 in 10 days) or athletic or skilled. I guess I can't get over us passing on Blair for both (all three of) the guys we took. Blair's two years younger and already much more productive... oh, well. Ed O.
