Well that has nothing to do with scoring 20,000 points, LUD mentioned Allen and not Pierce.

D Wade and LeBron are two obvious candidates. They both will lead their teams in scoring for the rest of their careers no matter what team they are on. I think that LeBron is capable of 25,000.

I'm not going to look at stats at this point, bt as mentioned, DWade and LeBron are basically shoe-ins. LeBron has 6,000+ points in 3 years, and he is only scoring more and more. The real question is: Will a player ever score 30,000 in their career?

If anyone does I think that LeBorn is the frontrunner. I already think that he will hit 25000 and I know that he can do that in his mid thirties, if he has a career that is successful up into his late thirties then I think that 30,000 is possible.

I think Kobe could score at least 1000 points each year for the next 10 years, when he'd be 38 (Malone did too) But for the next 5 years, think he can score 2,000 points, so thats 15,000 points plus his 16,000 points, he could be in the top 5 of scoring totals of all-time.
