Haven't read anything yet about that, just remembered hearing that Mt St Helens lowered global temperatures in the years after it erupted.
How big was the eruption compared to Mt. St Helens or Pinatubo? I remember that Pinatubo cooled the earth a degree or something, when it erupted back in what...1991? Sometimes I even impress myself. off the top of my head I remembered the year correctly. Don't remember where I put my keys half the time, but I can remember when a mountain erupted several thousand miles from here. Brilliant. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3f/Pinatubo91eruption_clark_air_base.jpg

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...es-fun-at-Al-Gore-during-Gridiron-dinner.html Former President Bill Clinton has poked fun at Republicans, Democrats and his own health at the Gridiron Club's annual dinner, saying he was only there because "I really didn't have anything much better to do tonight." He also targeted Al Gore, noting that it was spring: "otherwise known to Al Gore as proof of global warming."
