There is still one and a half games yet for a road team to steal home court. Looking forward to watching tonight's game.
i don't understand the idea of wanting worse teams to win so that the matchups later on in the playoffs(or tournament) are worse.
But you just said that worse teams winning is wrong. So which is it? Play the games or not? Would you rather have the BCS decide the NBA champion?
no. it just never made sense to me why people are "suppose" to want upsets or why the majority of people seem to think that upsets are "better". i prefer the best games possible. that can come from an underdog keeping up with a favorite(win or lose) but i think it happens more often when great teams go up against each other.
The NHL has some thing the NBA doesn't, parity. Look at the first round in the Stanley cup playoffs so far. I can't think of a series that went 2-0 to start. Almost every game I have watched ended up in OT. The NBA playoffs suck and the "weaker" teams, due to officiating, don't stand a chance to win, period. The NHL ois a pure example of a league with unbiased officiating and I only wish the NBA had it...
Portland wins tonight. Portland wins the series in Six. Phoenix sneaks out two wins in this series. The better team wins. Portland, even without Brandon Roy, is still the better team.
