As for leaving role players open for 3, they shoot the following: Dragic: 39.4% Hill: 43.8% Frye: 43.9% Barbosa: only 32% this year (injury?) but 40% career Dudley: 45.8% Again, I'm glad we won tonight, and it may be that there's something to this "switch up the rhythm and it'll throw them off". But to say that their scrubs should be allowed the open 3---makes me very uneasy.
There is one thing I'd like to see that isn't happening. A punch in the face. The Blazers need to be the aggressors. They need to be very physical. They need to be to Phoenix what Houston was to us last season in the Playoffs. The Blazers need to push, shove, move and intimidate the Suns. It's playoff basketball. In theory, it should work................that is......if the refs allow it. They allowed it last year vs us. Fact.
no I'm not. Better Bigs. Better wings. Push on the PGs. The Suns roster can score but they've multiple weak defenders and lose in the paint... thats a glaring achilles heal STOMP
As it should. Leaving them open isn't the game plan, I'm sure of it. We've had a similar game plan against Phoenix in all 4 games this season, and we were probably most successful (defensively) in our loss. Its worked up to this point, partially due to the make up of our team, and I think Nate would be crazy to take away the role players and dare Nash and Amare to beat us.
