Ok, that's nice and also irrelevant. I was just making a point, Theo and Ben have nothing to do with this.
well i was making a point too. its the player that impactes the game the most i was just using that as an example.

Hes a good, consistant player, but he's DEFINALY not HOF material... at least yet.Webber shouldn't either. He's a good player, but not HOF candidate by a long shot.I agree w/ everyone else on your list.</div>Brand hasn't proved anything? Haha. 20/10 every single year in the league, including rookie year. Got the Clippers organization back on its feet. Top 5 MVP candidate this year. He is a dominant rebounder (one of the best offensive rebounders in the NBA), especially for 6'8''. He is very strong and bangs in the post on both ends of the floor. He is a good defensive player/shot blocker, and even has a real nice 10-15 foot jumper. He's unselfish, humble, and a model citizen. If Brand played for a better team than the Clippers his whole career (except for when he started off in Chicago), then he would be in the same sentence as Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. No that does not mean better than, that means not too far off.Chris Webber is one of the best all around PF's to ever play the game. Sure he hasn't won a championship, who gives a damn neither has Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, or John Stockton. He has been to the Western Conference Finals. He was the complete package in his prime (and still is a very good player). He could give to 25+ points, grab 11-12 boards, even dish 5 assists, and shoot a nice midrange jumper. He was powerful and ran the floor well for his size. To me, there is no doubt C-Webb should be in there. You can't deny him.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Fabolous @ May 10 2006, 09:49 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>hes not saying that. hes saying that he has broken a lot of records thats why he'l be in the HOF</div>No, that's not really all of what I was getting at. Ray is a decent all around player as well. Sure, not as good all around as Pierce, but he's not too shabby. He's not as tall, big, or as long as Pierce. Pierce is definitely the better rebounder and the better defender, sure, but all I'm saying is that Ray is still a good all around player with great leadership qualities as well. He even did a nice job in He Got Game (lol that has no affect on my thoughts haha i just had to say it).

I think the baskeball HOF is joke. Women, foreign players, etc all make it. So it leaves out worth NBA players like Adrian Dantley. But is also is easier to get into then some other HOF's.The NBA should create their own HOF then the discussion would have more merit, IMO.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (JustBlaze @ May 10 2006, 09:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I don't necessarily agree with that, although I understand your point. I don't think he should make it over Pierce just because he's a superior in one category, when Pierce has the better all around game. I'm not sure if the fact that he was good at one aspect of the game is enough to get him in over players who were great at everything. That would be like putting Theo Ratliff in the HoF over Amare, because Amare isn't the best at anything and Theo is an amazing shot blocker.</div>But Ratlif isn't the BEST shot blocker or defender in NBA. Ray has been best shooter in NBA for nearly 8 or so seasons, with the exception of one season where Peja had his career year. He has broken records, like most 3pt FG made in a season this year. Pierce has never been best swingman in NBA, never best at any one thing, and statistically Pierce is just slightly better all around (Ray has better FG % and 3pt %, 5RPG and 4APG, 21PPG to Pierce's 23PPG for career, .5 less TO's, 10% better from line). Ray will be remembered for a LONG time as one of NBA's best shooters of all time, Pierce will be remembered as the poor man's Kobe.
you all forget that he was extremely clutch and he won lost of games with threes.and i made a mistake peja isnt better... they are TIED with career 3pt% of .399
