http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_a...9/noah_doesnt_care_about_clevelands_reaction/ Used to HATE this guy in Florida, now I LOVE him in the NBA. WHAT a warrior. Would you guys trade Bynum+Farmar+Sasha for Noah+Hinrich+cash??? We get our PG in Hinrich (upgrade over Fish) and a rebounding, shot swatting, machine in Noah. Pau can focus more on scoring, Noah more on defense, they shouldn't get in each other's ways. Chicago, on the other hand, gets an expiring in Sasha, a young backup in Farmar, and of course, and a true center who doesn't have to work next to an all-star, allowing him to blossom. 2010-11 Lakers PG Kirk Hinrich SG Kobe Bryant SF Ron Artest PF Joakim Noah C Pau Gasol 6th Man Lamar Odom Best team in the league. 2010-11 Bulls PG Derrick Rose SG Flip Murray SF Luol Deng PF Taj Gibson C Andrew Bynum VERY young team, great improvement on the offensive end.
I'm not sure I wanna trade Bynum. There really is something about him that, even through the inconsistency and injuries, i still think can be an all-time center. But, I'm not entirely against it cause I love Noah too. Good thing he's not on a Western team.
Yes he is. HAHAHA I don't see how that is relevant though to the question... EDIT: Do you mean when I said doesn't have to play next to an All-Star?? I meant another All-Star big man. With Pau at the 4, he doesn't have to be as productive.
"Chicago, on the other hand, gets an expiring in Sasha, a young backup in Farmar, and of course, and a true center who doesn't have to work next to an all-star, allowing him to blossom."
The Bulls probably wouldn't do this because they want to sign a MAX FA (LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Amare), Bynum's contract is expensive, and this trade would leave the Bulls weak at the guard positions.
It does, however, take Hinrich's salary off the books, and he's much less productive than Bynum. IDK I feel with Noah at the 4, Artest at the 3, and Kobe at the 2, we would fuck everybody's day up hahahaha. Three of the toughest (and Kobe and Artest are probably the 2 toughest) players in the league on the same team??? Damn. And, of course, Hinrich is an upgrade over Fish. He can actually play defense with lateral movement, unlike Fish who likes to play with his hands and throws them in the air when he's called for a reach saying "how was I reaching?"
Statlines, really? You care about one game? Okay, lets combat that! Bynum had a game where he scored 42 points and grabbed 15 boards! Woohoo!
Lebron for Bynum + Fillers. Done deal. Come on Cavs dont let Lebron walk for nothing. Dont let the Lakers do what they did to ORLANDO.. LOL..... *slaps himself.*.... Oh, did I say that? Sorry, Im awake now....
Have you ever actually watched Noah play? His offensive game is largely based on put backs. He doesn't really have a go-to post move and his jumper is fugly, no matter where he's shooting from. Bynum has a good back to the basket game, is just as good on defense, and could be a dominant rebounder as well. Noah...well...he gives more energy than Bynum and is a better rebounder. That's it.
AS a Bulls fan this would be one of the limited trades I would do involving Noah. As you said he is a warrior! He is a PF that plays center, but can handle the rock like a guard. He is a very good passer and plays 200% at both ends of the court! I have always liked Bynum as well. We need more scoring and farmar and sasha could provide that. Then we add a top FA this summer, that would be a good team. For your team, Noah will give you a lot! You don't and Hinrich will as well. Both won't score a hell of a lot, but defensively and in terms of passing, both will help your team a lot.
