    So with all that's going on with the Volcanic ash disrupting air travel, it looks like hotels are taking advantage by jacking up their prices because people are stuck. It's all outside of the US, but does shit like this happen here?

    I think there are laws against doing this with necessities... food clothing shelter etc... in some places of the US at least.
