Very nice to see him get some well deserved ink; the guy has been really under appreciated throughout his career.
Everytime I read what LA said it kept coming out as "If I run he gives me the ball... this guy is awesome!"
It was a pretty minor thing, but I remember in that pressure-packed Thunder game it was around the third quarter and the refs had to stop the game (I can't remember why). Andre was waiting to inbound the ball, and he immediately just leaned back against the table and crossed his legs because he realized it was going to take the refs a minute or two to sort things out. He looked like a guy waiting to catch a bus. When I read Aldridge's, "That's one cool dude," that's immediately what I thought of.
I remember that! I thought the same thing, "Andre looks like he's waiting for the bus to go to work... dude's calm as still waters.
Up to a point. After he went to the line and sank the free throw that put us up 4 with 3 seconds to play the other night he got pretty fired up and walked to half-court, pretty animated ... which was awesome.
