I get it. I have friends from Shaker Heights, and it's nice, too. There are plenty of nice places in NE Ohio. My point is that Cleveland is one of the poorest, most depressed, fattest cities in the country. It's too bad, because it could be a pretty cool place if it ever underwent a renaissance. Unfortunately, it's more Detroit than St. Louis.

Black Mamba (and Kingspeed), thanks for the videos.

My friends in Cincinnati will love it.

It's odd, many cities in Ohio (Columbus being a prime example), anyone know why Cleveland isn't booming?

many cities what exactly? Doing OK I presume? Columbus is a college town, Cleveland is a dying rust belt city with an industrial base that no longer exists. :dunno:

My bad, I meant doing well.

And I remember driving my GF to Beachwood so she can visit her family and I swear to God, as I was driving past Cleveland and a few other sketchy neighbourhoods it felt like I was in an impoverished Eastern European country. There was one big neighbourhood I passed nearby with no roadlines, or islands, and everyone looked homeless just passing through traffic with grocery carts even with ongoing traffic, panhandling and sleeping by the street. It was creepy.

As much as I dislike Noah, that was pretty funny.

My dad went to Cleveland years ago (like 25-30) and said it was the ugliest city he'd ever seen. Granted that was a long time ago, but from the sound of things it hasn't gotten any better.
