We have to find a player, a squad, a game plan...that can stop Steve Nash.

He's not a 2-time MVP because David Stern is his great-uncle, and we've allowed him to do everything and anything he wanted 2 games in a row.

Andre has 11 years of soft, apathetic defense ingrained in him so maybe we should put Bayless on Nash to stop his drives and let Rudy play the passing lanes where he excels.

Nate may have been right all along wanting Andre to run the bench.

Like it or not, the Suns found that clogging the lane stops Andre and double teams frustrate LaMarcus.

The ball is now in Nate's court to find a way to adjust and stop Nash from being so efficient. I'm not optimistic.

Nash's defense is no better than Millers. You can't bench arguably our best player. Your posts are getting more and more ridiculous.

I was under the impression that Game One went pretty well, and Game Two suffered in large part to Richardson and Hill going 21-27 for 59 points on us--not so much Nash's 13. :dunno:

One way to "defend" him is to get him to either a) foul out by attacking him on offense, or b) foul out the bigs behind him b/c he's ol'e-ing them on their way to the hoop. Gentry hid his defensive flaws quite well today--I'm not sure how it happened, but it did. (My guess is that Rudy's disappearance is involved somehow).

I don't think reducing Miller's minutes is the answer. But I agree--having Rudy playing better D when he's in the game would've helped tonight. If that takes zoning up and playing the passing lanes, ok.

His unhampered offense makes Andre a moot point.

Dang, I didn't realize Miller was guarding Hill and Richardson.

Thank Cthulhu we have Rudy and his lock-down defense to fall back on. I just wish we still had Sergio and his all-world defense.

You should have thanked Rudy Game 1, because that's exactly why we won.

omg maris is on a roll, did someone hack his account? Because this shit is priceless.
Rudy was a fucking disaster last night and I only personally watched 2 quarters because i couldnt take anymore. I prayed when Nico/bayless would come back to remove Rudy from the game.

    He cant create.
He is not hitting his shots.
    He is not causing mismatches
He is not capitalizing on who was guarding him (Nash, i mean come on Rudy)
    He is not creating assists

WTF else is there to do out there when hes not doing that?

I agree with most everything you said except the part in bold; Rudy creates plenty of mismatches ... unfortunately they're all in the Suns favor.
