Anyone who attacks people who agree with him because he can't understand sarcasm is, well, you know.

What do you expect from a guy who quotes his own posts, then answers them?

Benner, if you disagree with that, why don't you tell us your man's qualifications? Moving up the ladder, has he 1) been a volunteer on political committees, 2) been paid to consult or advise political people, or 3) been elected to anything. To get as high as Governor, you should have done SOMETHING. This is too high for political virgins. His only qualification appears to be his alma mater.

I enjoyed what Dudley had to say when he was down here in the valley speaking earlier this year. It'll be interesting to continue to hear his thoughts as time goes on, but I'm sure we'll get some super liberal person.

My dad called me today and left a voice mail that he had "cool news" to tell me.. the news was that he was going to help Dudley with his campaign. Then he got pissed when he realized I didn't give two shits about Dudley or the Oregon campaign. That is my story.

what the hell happened here? We had someone go ape shit or something?

So was Drexler there or not?

I'd like to hear what Dudley has to say about what he'd do for the state of Oregon before I make a comment about if he's qualilfied or not.

Agreed. My wife gets mad at me when I vote Constitution instead of Republican ("You're just wasting your vote!"), but I feel a responsibility to vote for the person who best represents my positions, not just the least of two possibly-electable evils.

It's extraordinarily rare for an election to be decided by one vote, except for very small local elections, so I've never really understood the concern about wasting a vote. You aren't going to decide the election, so you might as well vote for who you think is best.

Reading the voters' pamphlet right now, I see Mr. Dudley has, as part of his Oregon recovery plan:

    3) Better Educate for Our Economic Future

That line reads like a Dudley free throw.
