its hard for me to say this, but Kobe bryant's reign at being the best bball player in the world, won't last long. I mean, with Lebron James coming up so fast, i doubt he'll be considered the best any longer.
It's not like Kobe will be worse until quite a few years... he may not be the best in the future but he is still very good.
See, I don't think it's even close. The media and the NBA would love for people to believe that. But the bottom line is that until LeBron is even close to making an All-Defensive team, Kobe will clearly be the better player of the two.
Lebron will be the best basketball player in the nba when he can reach a defensive team. Untill then Kobe and Duncan are the superior players.And the media are the biggest bandwagoners, earlier on in the series they were praising kobe at every chance but when the losses started racking up he got criticised [even though he was playing excatly the same].
