    MRI shows a strain in the shoulder, play tomorrow will be a game time decision.

    Honestly? It's mostly semantics, in either case it means connective tissue (ligaments, tendons, etc.) were pulled or stretched to the point of injury.

    MRI confirms Portland F Nic Batum has a right shoulder strain. Batum is questionable (game-time decision) for Game 3 vs. Phoenix on Thursday.

    An MRI confirmed that Nicolas Batum has a strained right shoulder.

    Batum is being called questionable for Game 3 against the Suns, and his availability is expected to be a game-time call. His absence would mean more run for Martell Webster, who had 16 points in Tuesday's blowout loss.
