In my opinion, anyway. This game is a must win for both teams. If the Blazers come out with defensive energy and shut the Suns down, and get their own counterpunch offensive game flowing with a big win, I see the Suns collapsing. I see Amare and Nash starting to grip and play selfish one-on-one ball if they get down 2-1 in the series, and that plays right into the Blazers' hands. If that happens, Blazers in 6.

If the Suns come out and run the Blazers off of the court tonight, negating all the plodding, ugly defensive stuff that Portland can throw at them... and more importantly, knock down the shots they were hitting in Game 2 and missing in Game 1, then I think the Blazers are toast. Unless the vets can rally themselves and the troops back up to the level that they'll be jacked to tonight (but especially with Miller, it'll be history repeating itself all over again), I don't see the Blazers taking home court BACK from the Suns again, and then it'll be the Suns in either 5 or 7.

    *sigh*

DAMMIT, GET IT DONE, BLAZERS!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCKIN' RUDY, PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS AND BALL LIKE YOU THINK YOU CAN!!! BATUM, YOU BETTER PUT THAT DAMN SHOULDER IN A SLING AND GET ON THE FUCKIN' COURT AND SHUT DOWN NASH, GET IN THAT PASTY-WHITE CANADIAN'S GRILL AND LAY THE FUCKIN' WOOD TO HIM! AND GODDAMMIT, LMA, MAKE A FUCKIN' SHOT! QUIT BEING THE PANSY-ASS YOU'VE BEEN FOR 4 YEARS, GET A DAMN BACKBONE AND MAKE AMARE PAY FOR BEING ALLERGIC TO DEFENSE!!!

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I'M JACKED!!! GO BLAZERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a HUGE game, but it takes 4 wins to advance.

Yes. Especially if we win. It won't do us any good to win tonight and then turn around and lose on Saturday.

And ultimately the game that decides the series is the 4th win.

I was being sarcastic. The OP has a POV that tonight is it, the emotion and everything that goes with winning Game 3 will control the series, and you have a POV that it ain't over til it's over. I just laughed when I saw your post, cuz the OP was long, and you basically responded by, "I disagree".

Two POV's, one was an opinion of how the poster saw things playing out, the other is a rebuttal of plain, simple fact. Rather than refuting that the emotion and carryover that could come out of the game, you come out with the basic numerical/statistical answer. Dunno why it was funny to me, but I spend everyday with a lot of humorless people, so your simple response made me chuckle.
