When you listen to Barkley and other analysts talk about NBA and here them say "you better beat them now" and you might think they are talking about the bLazers but instead they are talking about the thunder and bulls. the blazers are never mentioned like that anymore. maybe because we are injury prone, maybe because we always lose big games, maybe cause we get destroyed by 30 on our home floor or maybe because are roster simply isnt that good.... or as good as we thought. how times have changed. and im telling ya... if the bulls or thunder ever get to a game 7 or win either series... it will be shameful for us after all tehy hype. those teams are actually living up to potential. this current roster as it stands aint going nowhere unless major changes our made.
That's ridiculous MIXUM. If we're healthy we have more talent than any team in the league. They key is to be healthy. We'll get there.
we will get there? i keep hearing that. seems like those other 2 teams are pretty close and we are took a detour. and we are never healthy bro.... never.
I want to see the Thunder experience a little bit of adversity before I start anointing them as the future world champs ... and I get the feeling that guys like Harden, Green, etc. aren't going to be completely happy with role player money and third and fourth banana roles. The Bulls also need to get a real coach. But I do agree that some major changes might be necessary for the Blazers to get back on course or to maximize their potential; that could be roster moves, management changes, maybe even a coaching change or perhaps all three. It's going to be an interesting off-season.
