I like what Carolina did today. Getting Clausen with a pair of WR's that have potential to be real playmakers down the road. LaFell has nice size, but had a down year @ LSU while also getting Armanti Edwards from Appalachian State. Edwards is the player that led that upset of Michigan, and has potential to be like Randle El (Steelers version). It would be nice to see some trickery, or maybe some Wildcat with him. I know they really liked Pat White last year just because of that dimension of having throwing ability and legs to run with.

Being in the area of Notre Dame, theres a mixed likeing of Clausen. I personally never watched a full game of him play in college, but thats the thing. This is the NFL. Im excited to see what he does down the line. A potential Randle El like player is pretty awesome as well. Hybrids are the new jems.

Carolina did a good job in this draft, one of the best on paper they have had during the Hurney & Fox ERA. I liked also bringing in Tony Pike late in the draft to push Clausen and Moore. I know Carolina was really high on Pike during the draft process, so to get him in the 6th round was a good bargain.
