If there is a version of the live broadcast on youtube maybe. I can tell you that Stat went up for a shot down low and he felt LA shoved him in the back. As he came thru to the other side of the hoop him and LA locked each other up and when la didn't back down, Stat swung a really hard elbow towards LA's head. The only reason he missed is because LA blocked it with his arm.
Really? What the fuck would that accomplish other than make Aldridge out to be a thug who would be suspended for Game 4?
Anyone see the comment for that video? I'm always amazed at just how stupid and childish sports fans are.
He won't get suspended, but he probably deserves to. To me, sometimes intent is a bit more important than execution.
http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindblazersbeat/2010/04/nba_to_assess_suns_amare_stoud.html A flagrant 1.
A flagrant 1 assigned AFTER the fucking game. Do we get the FTs and possession for it next game? No. What a bunch of bullshit. That elbow was worthy of a suspension. I actually want Nate to send Pendy out tomorrow to literally dive at Amare's knees.
Deliberate attempt to take his head off despite both being out of the play and no entanglement involved. An unprovoked attempt to physically injure our best player. The Suns have been allowed for 2 games now to hold, grab and shove all game long without so much as a single foul call. It's clear the spirit of Tim Donoughy is alive and well in the NBA. What a bogus excuse for a sports league. The fix is in again.
Well, us just taking it doesn't really help. Last year at Boston some of the garbage stopped after Oden tossed Ray Allen two rows into the baseline seats, and the refs realized "ok, we have to take the clovers off of our sleeves right now". Of course, KG stayed his d-bag self, but the game was called better.
Make so mistake: This year, we're the Suns' bitch. Next year, I expect Oden to take Stoudemire's head off. GO is such a nice guy off the court, people forget when he gets his confidence back what a badass he is. Seriously, no one fucked with Ohio State when he was there. Give him a healthy season and we see a more assertive Oden.
need video of the elbow that prompted batum to push him..they never showed a replay but they showed batum telling the coach he elbowed him twice in the shoulder
Maxie (though I quoted you): There were a few moments early this season (feels like 3 years ago...) where Oden laid down the law. I can't wait to see that again.
